Match to be the last hosted at Hughes Stadium before move to Bonney Field.
Sacramento Republic FC announced today their match on Saturday, June 7 at Hughes Stadium is sold out. Hughes Stadium attendance capacity for a soccer event is 20,231. The sell out is the third by Republic FC this year, tying the record for a USL PRO regular season also set by Republic FC. This is the last of four matches held at Hughes Stadium before the club opens at Bonney Field on June 20.
Republic FC will host Arizona United SC at Saturday’s match. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m, gates will open at 6:00 p.m. There will be no ticket sales on site or walk-up tickets available due to the sell out. Prematch activities include food trucks, BBQ, beer garden, face painters, inflatables, live music by Arden Park Roots and games for all ages. Tailgating is not permitted on campus or in the parking lot.
Because of limited parking on site, Republic FC highly recommends that fans take public transportation or carpool to the match. Regional Transit Light Rail will be operating until at least 11 PM at City College Station. Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA) will be operating two free bike valets; one on campus and one in Curtis Village. Bike riders are encouraged to avoid Freeport Blvd. Additional details on matchday activities, including parking and bike maps, are available on SacRepublicFC.com.
Parking is $10 with limited availability on campus and operate in three locations. Parking is also will be made available in Curtis Village. Parking lots open at 5:30 p.m. Will call will open at 4 p.m. for fans wishing to pick up tickets prior to the match.
Republic FC will host their first match at Bonney Field against the Colorado Rapids Reserves on June 20. Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, June 12. Tickets may be purchased online with no additional service fees at Ticketmaster.com.
