Portland Timbers loan George Fochive to Republic FC and recall Bryan Gallego and Aaron Long.
Jahn is a native of Davis, Calif. Growing up Jahn played for both Davis Legacy and San Juan Soccer Club. He is also a graduate of Jesuit High School in Carmichael. He was the 15th overall pick by the Earthquakes in the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft. Jahn played for four years at Stanford where he appeared in 73 matches scoring 24 goals and recording 12 assists. Jahn appeared in 22 matches for the Earthquakes in 2013 scoring 4 goals.
Fochive was the 39th overall pick by the Portland Timbers in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft. Fochive played two years for the University of Connecticut appearing in 45 matches scoring two goals and recording two assists.
With the addition of Fochive, the Timbers have also announced that they have recalled defender Bryan Gallego and midfielder Aaron Long. Long had appeared in two matches for Republic FC.
Republic FC will be holding practice Thursday and Friday from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Cosumnes River College. Players and coaches will be available for comment following practice. Republic FC opens their home schedule on Saturday, April 26 against the Harrisburg City Islanders. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. at Hughes Stadium on the campus of Sacramento City College. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. More info is available at SacRepublicFC.com.
