Republic FC Hosting Watch Parties for Women’s World Cup

The club will host watch parties for USWNT games, as well as a street soccer tournament at Lowbrau in partnership with Saturdays Football.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Republic FC are inviting fans to support the U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) as they look to retain their World Cup title this summer. The club will be hosting watch parties for USWNT games during their run in the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, including the team’s opening three games on June 11, June 16 and June 20.

Republic FC is partnering with Lowbrau and Saturdays Football to host a special watch party for the USA vs. Chile group stage match on June 16. Lowbrau will open early and serve brunch during the game. Afterward, 20th St. will be closed to host a pick-up style, 4v4 street soccer tournament. The co-ed event is open to players ages 18 and older and those interested in participating are encouraged to pre-register, either individually or with a team of five beforehand, as limited spots are available.

The June 11th and June 20th watch parties will be hosted at Republic FC’s headquarters in Midtown. Fans can watch the matches on the big screen and enjoy complimentary beer, beverages and pizza from Papa Murphy’s.

Tues., June 11 at 12 p.m. PT — USA vs. Thailand

Sun., June 16 at 9 a.m. PT — USA vs. Chile
Watch party location: Lowbrau, 1050 20th St, Sacramento 95811;
4v4 street soccer tournament on 20th St. after the match

Thurs., June 20 at 12 p.m. PT — USA vs. Sweden
Watch party location: Republic FC Headquarters, 1050 20th St., Suite 200, Sacramento 95811

Should the USWNT advance past the group stage, the watch party series will continue for future USWNT matches, pending schedule. More information on the watch parties and street soccer tournament is available at
