Sacramento Republic FC and Rocklin FC are excited to announce a new partnership this fall that will offer youth players additional opportunities to develop their skills, whether they play competitively or recreationally.
Spanning five full weeks, the program will consist of two separate sessions split into two blocks. The first block, which kicked off on Friday, Sept. 13, will run until Friday, Oct. 11, while the second block will begin on Friday, Oct. 25 and run until Friday, Nov. 22.
Republic FC and Rocklin FC coaches will be running 80-minute sessions incorporating technical skills development with conditioned game scenarios. Groups will be divided by age & level of play, with adjustments made to fit optimal player development as needed.
“The core of the program is coaching education and player development,” said Director of Republic FC Soccer Operations Jeremy Williams. “We are working with players from both their rec and competitive programs and hope to grow the game moving forward. This club has been a supporter of SRFC and has taken advantage of many of the coaching education opportunities we have offered in the past and we look forward to growing this program moving forward.”
All sessions are held on Friday nights at Kathy Lund Park and the cost is $75 per five week block.
