Boards for Change Auctions Are Now Open!

The Gallery at Papa Murphy’s Park features over 40 original selections from artists calling for racial justice and change

As people around the world rallied together and raised their voices in a global call for justice for generations of racism and discrimination, a project in Sacramento provided a shining example of what makes this community special. Boards For Change turned the city into a canvas for artists to call for change, bring hope to those who pass by the pop-up exhibits, and express the wide range of emotions that filled the streets.

And now, the original, one-of-one works are now on display at Papa Murphy’s Park in the North stand, representing the emotion and creativity of the community. Check out some of the pieces that will be on display at piece will be auctioned off to benefit local, Black youth organizations area with a focus on equality, unity, and social change. 

Bidding will start at $152 in honor of Robert Washington's Birthday (January 1, 1952), the father of Boards For Change Co-Founder Lina Washington, who passed away after battling COVID-19. Through an online auction portal, fans can take one of these pieces home – so bid early, and bid often.

Three selections will be available beginning tonight including Unity by Rigo The Artist – a work commissioned by Republic FC.
