Join Sacramento Republic FC on Monday, Mar. 12, for the annual St. Baldrick's Day fundraiser with our friends at de Vere's Irish Pub, hosted by Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance. The event will run from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at 1521 L St. in downtown Sacramento.

Five Republic FC players will be braving the shave this year to raise money for childhood cancer research; Jeremy Hall, Cameron Iwasa, Hayden Partain, Cole Seiler and Justin Schmidt have all volunteered to participate in the event. Each has a goal to raise $500 individually, while contributing to Team de Vere's overall goal of raising $20,000.

While the overall goal is raise as much money as possible for childhood cancer research, de Vere's also hope to fundraise more last year's total, while also beating the Sactown Baldies led by Chef Patrick Mulvaney of Mulvaney’s B&L.

Republic FC players, fans and staff have been a part of this annual event alongside de Vere’s Irish Pub since the club’s inaugural season. Past participants include Republic FC President Warren Smith, along with several former players and other front office staff. Members of Tower Bridge Battalion also have a team that participates annually in the event, with six participants on this year's team.

Sacramento Republic FC fans are encouraged to participate by shaving their heads at the event or donating to St. Baldrick’s. Fans may sign-up to shave their heads or make a donation using the links below.
