When will Republic Stadium open?
Construction will be completed in 2027. In the meantime, Republic FC will continue to play at Heart Health Park, presented by Western Health Advantage.
Where will the new stadium be located?
The stadium will be built at the historic Railyards site in Downtown Sacramento.
What is the planned capacity of the new stadium?
The current design includes a capacity of 12,000, with the ability to increase the capacity to 15,000 for concerts and other events.
When does construction officially begin?
Groundbreaking and stadium construction are officially scheduled to begin this summer.
How is the new stadium being funded?
The stadium will be entirely privately financed by Republic FC’s ownership group. The City of Sacramento has no financial obligation.
If I am a current Indomitable Member for the 2025 season, do I need to take any action to maintain my seat selection priority for the new stadium?
Current Indomitable members are enrolled in auto-renewal for the 2026 season, but maintaining good enrollment standing through the 2026 season is essential to retaining priority access for seat selection at the new stadium. Members will receive additional priority seat selection and 2026 membership auto-renewal details in early July 2025.
Will I be able to choose seats similar to my current ones at Heart Health Park?
Active 2026 Indomitable members will receive priority access to seat selection, with a full range of new seating options available for all fan types.

What types of seating will be offered in the new stadium?
Republic FC’s new home is being designed for every type of fan. From safe-standing supporters sections to family zones and an open air food market, as well as a variety of premium experiences – the new stadium will be a home for the entire community.

When will pricing and seating details be released?
Details of our pricing, payment terms, and seating options will be made available first to our Indomitable Members in late 2025. The products and pricing will be released publicly later in phases, with premium seating going on-sale first. While developing our pricing plan, it is our priority to maintain seating options and match day experiences for all fan types.
What other events will be held at the stadium?
The stadium is being designed with flexibility in mind, and a variety of events will be added to the downtown entertainment schedule year-round – including Republic FC’s regular and postseason matches, international soccer friendlies, concerts and festivals, community gatherings, and other large-scale events.
Where will I park?
The new stadium will offer a wide range of transportation arrival options for fans. Not only will the stadium be accessible by car – but a huge emphasis is being put on creating a multi-modal accessibility plan (Bike, Light Rail, Regional Bus lines, Capital Corridor and Ride Share) in addition to parking. More information will be provided to Indomitable Members and the public as our full transportation plans are finalized in the near future.
Will Republic FC join a first-division league when the new stadium opens?
The stadium’s design is being crafted to be future-proof. Phase 1 will create a uniquely-Sacramento soccer experience for 12,000 fans on match day and a new destination for concerts, festivals, additional sporting events and more. As the city and Club continue to grow, the stadium can expand too. A Phase 2 plan is already set for an expansion up to 20,000+ seats with minimal impact on the season schedule as the upgrades are installed.
