
The first-ever Republic FC x Futsi 3v3 Tournament is here — and the stakes don’t get higher than this. Compete on the concourse, battle through pool play and knockout rounds, and if you’ve got what it takes, play the Tournament Final at Halftime on the pitch in front of a live crowd at the April 25th match against Spokane Velocity.

- A spot in Futsi’s 3v3 Northern California Qualifying Tournament in July (top 4 teams) – with a path to the International Street Football Association World Cup

Competition Format & Schedule

9:45 AM – Team Registration Opens
10:20 AM – Group Stage Kicks Off
- Round-robin style played on 3 courts. Matches kick off every 10 minutes.
- The top team from each group advances to the Championship Bracket. The second-place team from each group qualifies for the Consolation Bracket.
12:00 PM – Knockout Rounds Begin
- Championship Bracket: Single-elimination games played on 2 courts. Matches kick off every 15 minutes. The last 2 remaining teams will play the Final during halftime of the Republic FC vs. Spokane Velocity match later that night.
- Consolation Bracket: Single-elimination games played on 1 court. Matches kick off every 15 minutes.
Tournament Rules
- 3v3 games (no goalkeepers)
- Max roster: 6 players per team (3 on court, 3 subs)
- Game length: 8 minutes straight (no halftime)
- Substitutions: Unlimited, on the fly
- Format: Group stage → Knockout
- Tiebreakers: Goal differential → Goals scored → Head-to-head → 1v1 sudden death
- Courts: Roughly 40 feet x 60 feet
- Goals: Mini goals (approx. 2.5ft x 4ft)
- Ball: Street/futsal ball, size 4
- No goalkeepers — all players attack and defend
- Kickoff: Back to back.
- Goals count from anywhere
- No offsides
- No sliding or body checks
- Referee’s decision is final
- No defenders may enter their own penalty zone at any time.
- If a defender enters the area, the referee may award a penalty shot (1v1 from halfway, 10 seconds to score).
- Attacking players may run through their opponent’s zone to finish or continue momentum, but cannot remain inside or block defensively.
- If an attacker gains advantage by staying in the zone (e.g., screening a defender or camping), the goal will be disallowed.
- Players may move through their own attacking zone freely when in possession.
- Light shoulder contact only — no pushing, tripping, or holding
- 3 team fouls = penalty shot (1v1 from halfway, 10 seconds to score)
- Red card = player ejected, team plays 2v3 for 2 minutes
- Must be made on the fly through the designated sub area
- Player must exit fully before sub enters
- Interference during subs may result in free kick or card
- Golden Goal — first team to score wins
- If still tied after 2 minutes → 1v1 sudden death battle (10 seconds to score)
- Win = 3 points
- Draw = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
- Respect referees, opponents, and staff
- Arguing, taunting, or disrespect = card or ejection
