ABOUT HEART HEALTH PARK
Owned and operated by Spectra, in partnership with Cal Expo, Heart Health Park is a premier sports and entertainment venue located in Sacramento, California. The official home pitch of Sacramento Republic FC, Heart Health Park is nestled in the grounds of Cal Expo and serves as a venue for dozens of soccer matches, as well as other sporting matches and concerts, year round.
The approximately $5 million privately funded facility is a private-public collaboration among Spectra, Republic FC and Cal Expo. In addition to the soccer pitch, Heart Health Park features concessions, merchandise, VIP and field seating, beer garden and activities for all ages.
To-date, Heart Health park has hosted a variety of prestigious international soccer teams, including C.D. Guadalajara (Chivas), Newcastle United and Rangers FC, as well as the United States, Samoa, Russia and Fiji men’s national rugby teams. Heart Health Park has also hosted performing artists such as Weezer, Panic! at the Disco and Lindsey Stirling.
These types of events help make Sacramento a better place to live, work and play through music, sport and entertainment.
Clear Bag Policy
– One (1) bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x12″ or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar)
– In addition to one clear bag, one (1) handheld bag approximately 5″ x 8″ in size with or without a handle or strap can be carried into the stadium.
– Guests can carry in blankets and jackets as long as they are readily available for screening at entry
– Guests can bring in parental bags as long as they are readily available for screening at entry
– Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection and screening

How do I get to Heart Health Park?
Northbound drivers to Sacramento can take either Interstate 5 or Highway 99. From I-5, take the Capital City Freeway East exit from Downtown Sacramento, follow the signs to Reno. The Cal Expo exit is just Northeast of the American River. Highway 99 becomes the Capital City Freeway just North of the 12th Avenue exit. Continue over the river to Cal Expo.
Southbound drivers to Sacramento can arrive via Interstate 5, Highway 99 or Highway 70. Highways 99 and 70 join I-5 just North of Sacramento. From I-5, take the I-80/Reno exit East and continue to the Capital City Freeway exit just past Watt Avenue. Continue toward downtown Sacramento until you reach the Cal Expo exit.
Eastbound travelers to Sacramento should take Interstate 80 to Sacramento, taking the Capital City Freeway exit in West Sacramento (following the signs to Lake Tahoe). Continue on Capital City Freeway, through downtown Sacramento and make the turnoff to Reno. The Cal Expo exit is just Northeast of the American River.
Westbound travelers can take Interstate 80 or Highway 50 to Sacramento. From I-80, take the Capital City Freeway exit to Downtown Sacramento just beyond Madison Avenue. Continue to the Cal Expo exit. From Highway 50, take the Reno turnoff just past Stockton Boulevard to the Cal Expo exit just Northeast of the river.
Bicycle parking is available at the Blue Gate, Main Gate and Gate 12.
Accessible parking spots are available closest to each admission gate.
The Green Gate (located west of the Main Gate) has general and disabled parking spaces in front of the Gate. Enter Parking Lot B to access the Green Gate.
