Career Bio

Cambridge has spent the last three seasons in the Charlotte FC system. After coming up through the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy, his homegrown rights were acquired by Charlotte, where he signed his first contract in 2022. He would go on to make 22 appearances for the first team and secured a brace in just his fourth MLS match. He also featured for Charlotte’s MLS NEXT Pro team Crown Legacy, scoring the team’s first-ever goal in 2023. The 6’0” midfielder had a standout collegiate career at the University of Portland, and in 2022 led the conference in goals and was named the WCC Offensive Player of the Year.

Career Bio

Malango featured prominently for Monterey Bay FC during the 2025 USL Championship season, making 29 appearances across league and USL Cup play with 5 goals and 2 assists. His contributions included scoring the club’s first goal of the season and earning a USL Championship Team of the Week honor early in the campaign for a standout performance against Oakland Roots SC.

Prior to joining Monterey Bay FC, Malango built a varied and productive professional career in the United States. He began his pro journey with New England Revolution II in 2020, where he appeared in 14 matches.  In 2021, he signed with New Amsterdam FC of the National Independent Soccer Association, scoring an impressive 9 goals in 14 appearances to earn an All-League First Team selection. In 2022, he continued his development with Albion San Diego in NISA, finding the net 3 times in 20 matches, helping the team reach the NISA Championship Final. From 2023 to 2024, Malango starred for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in USL League One, where he recorded 12 goals and 5 assists in 68 total appearances.

A native of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malango and his family spent 10 years in Malawi as refugees before coming to the U.S. and settling in Massachusetts. He made a name for himself on the local soccer scene before moving on to the collegiate level. He began at Salem State University, where he scored 17 goals in 19 appearances and earned both MASCAC Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors on the way to a conference title. He then transferred to UMass Lowell, competing at the Division I level before turning professional. 

Mayele earned his first call up to the Malawi National Team for World Cup Qualifiers in September 2025, and recorded an assist in his debut. He later joined The Flames for two international friendlies in November, scoring his first goal against Lesotho on November 18.

Career Bio

Edwards comes to the Indomitable City following a three-season stint in Hartford. His breakout came in 2025, when he led Athletic with 12 goals – a new club single-season record – while setting a league record with eight goals as a substitute. His strike rate of 0.95 goals per 90 minutes was the best mark by a player with at least 10 goals since 2020, earning him three Team of the Week selections. He also added three assists to help Hartford win its first trophy in the club’s history.

The 28-year-old forward was drafted 86^th overall in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Houston Dynamo FC and spent his first two seasons with Rio Grande Valley FC, Dynamo’s reserve side in USL Championship. With RGV, he recorded six goals and two assists in 25 appearances. In 2022, he joined MLS NEXT Pro side Houston Dynamo 2 and in 13 appearances scored five goals and two assists. He also previously featured for USL League Two side Brazos Valley Cavalry FC in 2019 when he claimed a share of the Golden Boot with 14 goals.

Edwards’ college career took him to Ranger College and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Across his four seasons, he amassed 51 goals in 57 appearances.

On the international stage, Edwards has been a regular on the roster for the St. Vincent and the Grenadines National Football Team, making over 30 appearances and adding six goals.He also featured for USL League Two side Reading United FC from 2016 to 2018 and helped them reach the 2018 National Championship Final.

Career Bio

Ajago spent much of the 2025 season with USL Championship debutant Lexington SC on loan from Real Salt Lake. Across 22 appearances in league and USL Cup play, he led Lexington with seven goals and 18 shots on target. Earlier in the year, he joined Real Salt Lake and made eight appearances and scored two goals, including the team’s first goal of the 2025 campaign. He also made three appearances with RSL’s MLS NEXT Pro side Real Monarchs.

The 6’2” striker made his pro debut with Nashville SC in 2024 and recorded his first pro goal in 18 MLS appearances. In addition to a Leagues Cup appearance, he also bagged a brace in the First Round of the Concacaf Champions Cup. He then went on loan to MLS NEXT Pro team Huntsville SC where he had 10 goal contributions in 13 appearances.

Born in Kumasi, Ghana, 24-year-old Forster was a standout player in his home country’s youth ranks and in 2018 he featured for Ghana’s U17 National Team. In 2020, he moved to the United States for a college career that included stops at the University of Delaware and University of Dayton before a breakout senior year at Duke in 2023. That season he led the Blue Devils across all offensive categories with 32 points, 14 goals, 28 shots on target, and three game-winning goals. The performance earned him a slew of accolades, including Second Team All-America, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinals, and three ACC Offensive Player of the Week selections.

Career Bio

In his first season for Republic FC, Wanner recorded three goals and one assist in 26 appearances, and earned two Team of the Week selections.

Began his youth career with German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund and across three seasons recorded 12 goals and five assists in 75 appearances. He won a total of three league championships – two with the U19 squad and one with the U17s. At the national level, he has made 13 total appearances across Germany’s youth teams.

Before joining Republic FC, he played the 2022 and 2023 seasons with Kickers Offenbach of the Regionalliga Südwest, the fourth tier of the German football league. With the club, he scored 16 goals and added six assists in 61 appearances. Kickers Offenbach won the Landespokal Hessen, a regional tournament that secured the team a spot in the German Cup. Wanner finished the tournament tied for the Golden Boot with four goals, including a hat trick in the Round of 16. Wanner also spent a year with the reserve side for Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05, where he made 29 appearances and notched six goals and one assist.

Career Bio

Signed to professional contract from the club’s youth development academy on July 31, 2023 and made his debut on October 1, 2023 – making him the youngest athlete signed to a professional contract in American team sports. In 2024, earned 15 roster selections and made 3 appearances.

Kimbrough joined Republic FC’s Academy in 2021 at age 11, playing up one age division. In his first season, he scored a team-leading 27 goals in 31 matches, helping Sacramento’s U-13 side to the best record of any team in their age group nationwide with 30 wins and just one loss in league play, including 27 consecutive victories to open the season. In his second season, Kimbrough and the U14 squad finished first in MLS NEXT division play with a 26-5-3 record, outscoring opponents 148-22. As part of the high potential training program, he would join the U15 team for select matches against older competition. In two seasons of MLS NEXT league play, he scored 61 goals in 81 appearances. 

After a successful MLS NEXT Flex tournament in 2023, Kimbrough was recruited to serve as a guest player at the Bassevelde U13 Cup, one of the most prestigious youth tournaments across the globe. Up against some of the top clubs in the world – including Juventus, West Ham, and Benfica, Kimbrough scored six goals and was named the tournament MVP, leading New York Red Bulls Academy to be the first MLS club to lift the championship trophy.

Before joining Republic FC’s Academy, Da’vian’s development began with the coaching staff at North Bay Elite Futbol Club in Solano County, as well as Woodland Soccer Club of Yolo County. In his time with Republic FC, Kimbrough was also selected to participate in his first U.S. Youth National Team ID Center last October.
