Established in 1989, St. Hope is a group of non-profit organizations committed to revitalizing Oak Park through high-quality public education and economic development.
Former Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson founded St. Hope initially, as an after-school program that has molded into a multifaceted school and youth group system that has greatly impacted the growth of students in Oak Park.
St. HOPE operates PS7 Elementary School, PS7 Middle School, and Sacramento Charter High School and focuses on creating self-motived graduates who are committed to serving others.
With that path, St. HOPE commits to the greater opportunity and chances that students going through their system will attend a four-year college.
