Scholarships - Sacramento Republic FC

Since 2019, Republic FC has proudly partnered with local organizations to present the Republic Rising Scholars program, supporting and celebrating the next generation of leaders in our community. Each year, scholarships such as the Black Excellence Scholarship, Indigenous Future Leaders Scholarship, Community Pride Scholarship, and El Futuro Scholarship are awarded.

These scholarships recognize outstanding students for their academic achievements, leadership, and positive contributions to their communities. Recipients are celebrated at a Sacramento Republic FC home match during the month of their award, honoring their inspiring journeys and commitment to making a positive impact.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the criteria for the scholarship you are applying for (Black Excellence Scholarship, Indigenous Future Leaders Scholarship, Community Pride Scholarship, or El Futuro Scholarship).
Complete the Application: Fill out the online application form, including a personal statement that highlights your achievements, community involvement, and future goals.
Submit Supporting Documents: Provide required documents such as transcripts and letters of recommendation.
Review & Selection: Applications are reviewed by our scholarship committee in collaboration with local organizations.
Award Notification: Winners will be notified and invited to be honored at a Sacramento Republic FC home match during the month of their award.

NOW ACCEPTING SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Community Pride Scholarship

Guidelines:

Must reside in the Sacramento Six-County Regional area: Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, & Yuba counties.
For a regional student who identifies as LGBTQIA2S+.
Currently enrolled in an eligible high school or taking at least 6 units at a community college or four-year university at the time of application.
Plan to enroll in a four-year college/university or a California Community College (minimum 12 units).
The scholarship will be awarded during Pride Night on Saturday, June, 7. The winner must be able to attend.
