Come tryout for the only youth-to-pro path line in the Sacramento region at Sacramento Republic FC Academy tryouts!
Sacramento Republic FC Academy will be hosting open tryouts for elite youth soccer players who aspire to play for our Academy teams with the end goal of acquiring SRFC Academy training invitations and roster offers. As the only youth-to-pro path line in the Sacramento region, Sacramento Republic FC provides a direct line for players aiming to compete at the highest level of the game. Academy Director, Eder Quintanilla will be leading the event alongside other members of the SRFC Academy coaching staff.
Tryout Information
- Date: Thursday, April 30 & Friday, May 1
- Location: Cosumnes River College, 8401 Center Parkway Sacramento, CA 95823
- Time: 5-9pm, Groups & specific group times will be announced once registration is completed.
- Tryouts are open to players born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, & 2015
- Registration fees apply and are non-refundable
- Players must come prepared for the tryouts with their own boots, socks, shorts, gloves, shin guards or any other equipment related to their position
Academy Success
- Three academy players on the first team are signed to professional contracts, Blake Willey, Chibi Ukaegbu, and Da’vian Kimbrough
- Four academy players are signed to USL Academy contracts, Luke Strassburg, Rohan Chivukula, Brooks Doolittle and Jackson Montero
- Over the last 12 seasons, the club has seen more than 80 graduates move into college programs, including nearly 40 who have received academic and athletic honors from the Big Ten, Pac-12, MVC, United Soccer Coaches, Big 8, Ivy League, and more
- In 2025, players from the Indomitable club’s youth academy combined for 80 game day roster selections, 56 appearances, and over 3,000 minutes. Academy players have also been elevated to international ranks, with over 70 invitations to national team programs, including training camps, Talent I.D. Centers, and international competitions
