This week, Republic FC will host the club’s annual Salute to Service Night at Heart Health Park. Throughout the match, the club will honor local veteran groups, recognize an active “captain” of the match from Beale Air Force Base, and give back to military families through the Salute to Service merchandise collection. Veterans and active service-members can claim a special 25% discount on match tickets.
From this week through the end of the season, tickets to all of Republic FC’s home matches will be available on GovX.com – which provides exclusive events and e-commerce offers to service-members, first responders and other public service professionals nationwide. GovX currently serves over 7 million members across six sectors; Republic FC will be the sixth USL Championship Club to offer a unique promotion through the site. The club will also donate 10% of all revenue from the special ticket offer back to GovX to continue its wide-reaching support of the nation’s public services.
Republic FC will also honor Veteran Enhanced Technology Solutions (VETS), a local, veteran owned and run rapid-response IT services organization that supports veteran and underserved communities by providing technology training, job placement and resiliency skills to ensure long-term success. VETS has helped thousands through financial rehabilitation while providing an avenue for veterans to serve their clients as they did their nation. Last season, Republic FC supported the organization with over 1,500 complimentary tickets for veterans and their families.
The club is also providing fans with an opportunity to support a local veterans group. This year’s Salute to Service apparel collection will provide Sacramento Blue Star Moms with additional resources to support veterans and military families. 15% of sales from this year’s Salute to Service shirt and hat will directly benefit the organization. The collection will be available later this week at Shop.SacRepublicFC.com as well as at Heart Health Park on match day.
Kickoff for Saturday’s match against Rio Grande Valley FC is set for 8:00 p.m. from Heart Health Park, and will be broadcast live on FOX40, FOX40.com and the FOX40 app, and streaming from ESPN+.
