Sacramento Republic FC will welcome MLS Commissioner Don Garber to Sacramento this Thurs., Apr. 14. Commissioner Garber’s one-day visit will include meetings with Mayor Kevin Johnson and Republic FC Lead Investor and Managing Partner for Sac Soccer & Entertainment Holdings, LLC (SSEH) Kevin Nagle, a tour of the proposed stadium site at the Railyards and the MLS Block Party at 16th and L Street.
During the MLS Block Party at L Street between 15th and 16th streets, Garber will be answering fan questions submitted online via the hashtag #BuiltForMLS. The Q&A with Garber will not only provide an opportunity for fans to have their questions answered directly by the commissioner, but also provides Republic FC fans an opportunity to showcase their indomitable support.
Republic FC will be collecting questions from fans prior to the event. Fans may submit their questions online using the hashtag #BuiltforMLS and tweeting at @TheSoccerDon.
Fans are also encouraged to reach out to Garber prior to his visit to share with him what they love about Sacramento and why it’s truly an Indomitable City.
