1. Friday: Olympic Opening Ceremony Party at CLARA.
Join Republic FC to celebrate the start of the Rio 2016 Olympics at an opening party hosted by the Brazilian Center for Cultural Exchange at CLARA, E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts. The free event will feature dancing and drumming by Mistura Brasileira Samba Dance Company, Brazilian food and drink and other events. Join us to watch the opening ceremonies in the Brazilian Clubhouse on a giant screen. Event starts at 5 p.m.
2. Friday: Concerts in the Park at Cesar Chavez Plaza
It’s the season finale of Concerts in the Park. So bike over to downtown Sacramento to join us for music, food trucks and beer at the free concert series. Friday’s lineup includes performances from Geographer, Dusty Brown, Epsilona, Death Party at the Beach and Young Aundee. Swing by our booth for a chance to win free Republic FC swag. The party starts at 5 p.m.
3. Saturday: USWNT vs France Watch Party at Hot Italian
Join our friends Street Soccer Sacramento: Lady Salamanders to cheer on the U.S. Women’s National Team as they face off against France in their second match of group play in the Summer Olympics. Hot Italian will have select special menu items—pizza and beer and pizza and gelato packages—with all net proceeds benefiting our local Street Soccer USA chapter. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
4. Saturday: Republic FC vs San Antonio FC match at Bonney Field
Saturday’s match is Rhythm and Hue Night presented by UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
Gates open early for special $5 pricing on select beer and bites from 6-7:15 p.m. Join us for an evening of live music, art activities for kids and more in The Market. Republic FC fans are also encouraged to bring art supplies and toys to donate to UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Kickoff is 8 p.m. with tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.com.
