Sacramento Republic FC announced today a special edition artist poster for Season Ticket Holders that renew their accounts by Tuesday, September 6. This unique piece was designed and created by local business owner and tattoo artist Britton McFetridge of Royal Peacock Tattoo Parlor, located in midtown Sacramento.
“There is so much cool graphic imagery with California and the history of California and Republic FC has one of the coolest logos,” said McFetridge. “I thought it was missing something so I thought I could add some of that Greek goddess warrior art, kind of based on the Seal of California. Then I added the bear and put the [Tower] Bridge in to just give that extra connection to Sacramento. With all of our state buildings and the Capitol, it is kind of intertwined with that.”
McFetridge created his Republic FC-inspired work of art over countless hours of research, sketching and execution. A Sacramento native, McFetridge’s inspiration came from his fine arts background as well as inspiration from Sacramento and California state symbols. The original piece was created on watercolor paper with ink, and then painted and brushed with different washes to give it a vintage look.

The special edition artist poster is only available for Season Ticket Holders that have renewed for the 2017 season by Tuesday, September 6 at 10 a.m. This includes accounts that have already renewed their Season Tickets. Accounts do not need to be paid in full, but they do need to opt in for the 2017 season. One poster per account will be distributed.
Anyone that has already renewed their seats or that renews their seats on Saturday, September 3 can pick up their poster that day at the match against Orange County Blues FC at Bonney Field. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. The posters will be distributed next to the main gate near the VIP entrance.
2017 renewal invoices are available on My Account Manager for Season Ticket Holders who prefer to renew online.
