Sacramento Republic FC will host a home playoff match on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Bonney Field. The first round match will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Gates will open at 6 p.m. Opponent to be determined pending the final standings at the conclusion of the regular season.
Republic FC Season Ticket Holders have until 11:59 pm on Sunday, September 18 to opt in and secure their seats for the playoffs. To opt-in, log into My Account Manager and click the playoff invoice. The playoff invoice is separate from any invoices or opt ins related to the 2017 season. Playoff tickets are “pay as we play.” Season Ticket Holders will place a credit card on file to be billed only as matches are announced and played.
In addition, all those that opt in for playoff seats by 11:59 p.m. will be entered into a sweepstakes and chance to win a match worn jersey by a Republic FC player.
Season Ticket Holders will also have the opportunity to purchase additional playoff tickets through an exclusive presale on Tuesday, Sept. 20 via Ticketmaster.com.
Tickets for the playoff match will go on-sale to the general public on September 21 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com. The match will be streamed live at www.sacrepublicfc.com/matchday and the USL YouTube page.
With Saturday’s draw against rival LA Galaxy II, Republic FC clinched a home match for the 2016 USL playoffs. The club is 13-6-10 with 49 points and sit in second place in the USL Western Conference behind Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC. If Republic FC win in their last regular season match against Tulsa Roughnecks FC on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Switchbacks FC loses to Orange County Blues FC, Republic FC will take the USL Western Conference title. Should Colorado and Republic FC remain tied in points at the conclusion of the regular season, Switchbacks FC owns the tiebreaker and would win the Conference title due to win differential.
