Sacramento Republic FC and UC Davis Health formalized a partnership establishing UC Davis Health as the founding jersey or “kit” sponsor for Republic FC’s Major League Soccer club on Monday. The agreement is believed to be the first-ever binding jersey sponsorship secured prior to a team earning formal entry to MLS.
The event took place at Oak Ridge Elementary in Sacramento and was followed by a community soccer clinic with the students from the school, led by Street Soccer USA Sacramento.
