Last Saturday, over 60 artists turned Papa Murphy's Park into an open air canvas as they beautified the black scrim around the stadium with unique designs done by spray paint.
Now we need your help! Of the over 60 designs around the stadium, our panel of judges – made up by Republic FC, Wide Open Walls, visual artist Maren Conrad, visual artist Raphael Delgado, and performance painter David Garibaldi – has narrowed it down to the top five. We need you to vote for your favorite design, with the winner taking home a $1,000 cash prize, in addition to the exclusive VIP experience all five finalists will enjoy at an upcoming Republic FC match.
The finalists are:
1. Fútbol in Action – Lin Fei Fei
2. Strong and Majestic Core of Sacramento – Jenn Ponci
3. Spirit of Sacramento – Anthony Padilla
4. 'Republic' – Mark Pedras
5. Conquering the Game – Jared Konopitski
