Sacramento Republic FC continued their home win streak with a 2-1 win against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, the club's first ever win against the Colorado side. The Switchbacks went up early in the match with a header from Shane Malcolm, taking the lead into the break. Republic FC responded with a goal from Cameron Iwasa off a great through ball by Carlos Rodriguez, before Villyan Bijev put the icing on the win with a wicked goal to secure all three points for Republic FC. With the win, the boys in Old Glory Red remain undefeated in the 2018 season.
