Sacramento Republic FC were handed just their third defeat of the season on Tuesday as they fell 1-0 to Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium. The lone goal not only gave the home side the win but also gave Monarchs player Chandler Hoffman his 50th USL career goal. Republic FC kept pushing for a goal but were unable to get one before the final whistle.
