Sacramento Republic FC took the regular season series against Orange County SC with a 1-0 win at Papa Murphy's Park. The Boys in Old Glory Red entered the match off a road loss to Real Monarchs, while Orange County was undefeated in their last two matches. Both sides had chances in the first half but the deadlock wouldn't break until the 58th minute. Villyan Bijev was taken down in the box and the referee awarded Republic FC a penalty kick. Jeremy Hall stepped up to take the kick and coolly slotted his shot past Andre Rawls to give Republic FC the 1-0 win.
