Sacramento Republic FC invites all fans to come watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup at the Republic FC Team Store!
The club will be showing all weekday games that begin at 7 a.m. or later, beginning with the opening match at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 14.
Stop by on your way to work or during your lunch hour to enjoy the games with us—coffee, pastries and snacks will be provided!
“The World Cup is a great opportunity to bring people together around a common love for the game,” said Republic FC COO Ben Gumpert. “It is a fun way to invite our fans to stop by our team store on their way to work, grab coffee on us and enjoy watching the games with other passionate fans. Knowing the passion of our fanbase, maybe some will even call in sick to work for the morning – and we’re ok with that.”
Fans planning to attend should reserve their spot by signing up at www.sacrepublicfc.com/worldcup; the full viewing schedule is available via this link, as well.
“With the incredible news of today that North America will host the World Cup in 2026, there is an added level of excitement this year as we all watch knowing that it will be on our home soil soon enough,” added Gumpert.
