Returning to USL play this past Saturday, all seemed to go according to plan for Sacramento Republic FC in their match against Saint Louis FC. Cameron Iwasa netted his sixth USL goal in the 28th minute, with the forward driving through the center of the box and placed his shot perfectly past Saint Louis goalkeeper Tomas Gomez. Iwasa snatched his brace in the 47th minute to give Iwasa seven on the season and 19 all-time in USL for Republic FC.

However, Saint Louis FC would now go down without a fight. In the 72nd minute Albert Dikwa took advantage of a poor clearance in the box to net his goal and cut Republic FC's lead in half. Wal Fall would clinch the draw for the visitors with a spectacular free kick in the 90th.
