Republic FC (10-5-6, 36pts) enter Saturday’s match on a two-match win streak with recent road victories at Swope Park and Colorado Springs. Defender Shannon Gomez was named to the USL Team of the Week and was joined on the Week 18 TOTW by USL Player of the Week Cameron Iwasa. Now Sacramento Republic FC’s all-time leader in USL goals scored thanks to his brace against Swope, Iwasa is one goal shy of tying Rodrigo Lopez for the all-time, all-competitions goal scoring list for Sacramento. Laurendi had been injured at the end of the 2017 season and had been rehabbing with the club prior to re-signing.
