Sacramento Republic FC got back to winning ways this Saturday with a 2-1 win over Nevada rival Reno 1868 FC. The first half remained scoreless, despite pressure from the home side in the beginning and good chances for the boys in white towards the end of the half. Republic FC would come out blazing in the second half, with Cameron Iwasa heading home a perfect cross from Mitchell Taintor, going up 1-0 in the 47th minute. Wilson Kneeshaw would make it 2-0 in the 60th minute, shaking off Will Seymore to send a low shot past JT Marcinkowski. Reno would pull a goal back in the 74th minute through a penalty, but Republic FC came out on top at the final whistle.
