SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Republic FC’s international friendly against former Liga MX side Lobos BUAP has been postponed indefinitely. Fans who purchased single-game tickets to the match will receive a full refund, including all fees paid.
The friendly, which was scheduled for July 6 at Papa Murphy’s Park, became untenable after Lobos BUAP announced the club’s sale to FC Juarez on June 11. Republic FC is in talks with the new ownership on a potential match in the future. An additional summer friendly match is expected to be announced shortly.
