U-19s
The Republic FC U-18/19s lost 3-1 to LA Galaxy U-18/19s over the weekend but responded nicely with a 0-0 draw against Pateadores U-18/19s the following day. On Saturday, the boys in Old Glory Red took an early lead in the seventh minute by way of a Nathaniel Carrasco strike. The very next day, goalkeeper Sucre Herrera registered his first shutout of the season as well as the teams’ first clean sheet of their young USSDA Cup campaign. Next up for the U-18/19s is a trip to De Anza Force on October 5.

U-17s
The Indomitable Club’s U-16/17s fell 6-2 to LA Galaxy over the weekend but bounced back with a come-from-behind draw against Pateadores on Sunday. Both Giovanni Ceja and Alex Medina found the back of the net for SRFC on Saturday and Sean Battistessa’s 67th minute equalizer the following day earned the boys in Old Glory Red a hard-fought draw. The U-16/17s will look to pick up the first win of the season this Saturday at De Anza Force U-16/17s.

The Republic FC U-15s picked up a pair of 2-2 draws over the weekend against LA Galaxy U-15s and Pateadores U-15s. Saturday’s match saw Nathan Cochenour and Lucas Lui find the scoresheet while the boys in Old Glory Red had to battle back from two-down to steal a point from Pateadores on Sunday. Donovan Turner sparked the comeback with the first goal and Quinn Mahoney’s strike completed the comeback for SRFC. The U-15’s will look to carry momentum from their recent come-from-behind draw into Saturday’s game against De Anza Force U-15s.

The Indomitable Club’s U-14s made it a flawless four wins from four matches following Saturday’s 5-2 win at EBU Bay Oaks U-14s. Ermias Yohannes found the back of the net and Angad Singh bagged a hat trick to round out the rout as the hosts also contributed an own goal to make it five for the visitors. Next up for the U-14s is double-duty this weekend when San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy U-14s and Place United SC U-14s pay a visit to the Davis Legacy Center to put SRFC’s undefeated record to the test.

The Indomitable Club’s U-13s will look to keep their unbeaten run alive when San Joaquin Valley Soccer Academy U-13s and Placer United SC U-13s visit Davis Legacy Center this weekend.
