SRFC has closed its offices and will pause its social media channels on Election Day to encourage everyone to take action, share your voices and vote. Find your nearest polling place, encourage a friend and turn in your ballot to build the community you want to see.
We say #ItTakesARepublic and voting is an important part of everyone engaging in our community. Sacramento Republic FC wants to be an additional resource for the information you need to have your voice heard.
There is still time to cast a ballot at a voting center, get registered or send in a mail-in ballot.

IF VOTING BY MAIL
IF VOTING BY MAIL
In order for a vote to still be counted if sent in by mail, the mailed in ballots must be postmarked by no later than midnight on November 3. All Californians registered to vote received a mail-in ballot this year for the first time ever and votes will still be counted as long as county election officials receive the ballots by or before November 20, up to 17 days after the actual election. No postage is needed, and voters should make sure they signed their envelope to avoid election officials having to take additional steps to verify each vote.
Additional information on mail-in voting can be found by visiting the CA Secretary of State website here.

IF VOTING IN-PERSON – Ballot drop-off and Registration
Due to the pandemic and with community health in mind, vote centers have replaced the polling places that many voters are familiar with and are now open through every California county.
California residents can vote in person, deliver their mail-in ballots or even register to vote if they haven’t done so. Those who chose to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots must do so in their county of residence.
