Fresh off a scrimmage in San Jose against Major League Soccer’s Earthquakes, the Indomitable Club welcomes the Silicon Valley club’s U23 for a friendly this Friday.
It was back to business on the pitch as Mark Briggs’ men began their week-long training camp at Cosumnes River College – and what a beautiful day it was in the California Capital for an afternoon on the pitch.

As the week rolled along, so did the action at practice, but following training midweek Connor Sutton was joined by two members of the Indomitable Club who recently were called into international duty with their respective countries.
Rafael Diaz and Kharlton Belmar – who represented the Dominican Republic and Grenada respectively – joined Connor Sutton on the most recent edition live edition of The Breakaway: A Republic FC Podcast. Both boys in Old Glory Red took a deep dive into playing for their countries while participating in a live Q&A with SRFC supporters.

Defender Jordan McCrary was on the same boat when it came to looking forward to the season a head as he spoke with media following a midweek training session.
“So far this preseason, we’re working hard, grinding, trying to get fit, learn our formation and learn about each other as players – try to build that chemistry so when we get going, we’ll be ready,” McCrary said. “So far it’s been very good. Everybody’s coming in fit, everybody is working hard and putting their best foot forward and getting ready for this next match.”
Republic FC President and General Manager Todd Dunivant also had nothing but positive things to say heading into the 2021 campaign when he joined The Jason Ross and Doug Christie Show earlier in the week.
