The Indomitable Club clashed with Oakland Roots SC on Wednesday night for the first time in franchise history.
Not only was the meeting itself a historic one, the game produced a memorable outcome in the form of a six-goal thriller between the two Northern California neighbors.
Republic FC’s 3-3 result against Oakland earned Mark Briggs’ men a point in the standings and the squad will have another chance on Saturday to continue racking up points when Orange County SC visit Sacramento.
While SRFC has an abundance of games coming up, there are still plenty of other matchups around the USL Championship in the coming days that are worth keeping tabs on.
