On March 7, Republic FC will host organizations from across the region for the club’s annual Nonprofit Mixer. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the club’s Community Investment team and hear about the many ways that Republic FC can partner with organizations this season.
Every year since its inception, Republic FC has partnered with non-profit organizations throughout Sacramento to foster a Unified Community – one of the club’s core values. Whether it’s donating to incredible causes, offering scholarships to hard-working students, or creating memorable experiences at Republic FC matches, the club takes every opportunity to serve Sacramentans from all reaches through mutually beneficial programming.
“Our local nonprofit partners are our greatest allies, as they are the ones doing the work and driving impact in our community,” said Republic FC Vice President of Community Investment Scott Moak. “As we begin to celebrate our 10th season, we’re thrilled to bring back all the nonprofits we have worked with over the last several seasons, while also inviting new ones to the table – with the goal of working closely together to make even more significant improvements in our communities. Plus, it’s just going to be a fun time where hundreds of nonprofit leaders get to connect with their peers, and have a beer…on us!”
In 2022, Republic FC fostered relationships with over 600 non-profit organizations and provided nearly 18,000 free match tickets to create memorable experiences. With the support of its corporate partners, fans, and community members, the club raised over $100,000 to support youth scholarships, food insecurity programming, free toys and coats for underserved kids, women’s service organizations, and more. For the next generation of soccer players, 500 youth participated in free soccer clinics, and two new free-for-all futsal courts were opened (the club’s 9th & 10th courts opened since 2019). Republic FC was also recently named Sacramento Business Journal’s 2022 Corporate Champion for Youth Enrichment, recognizing the club’s commitment to fostering opportunities that lead to a brighter and better future for the area’s kids and teens.
This year, in celebration of Republic FC’s 10th season, the club will award $10,000 to local organizations that are making a difference in the Sacramento region. The Indomitable Club will also continue to support many of the projects that it has developed over the years, while also looking for new opportunities to create an even bigger impact in the community.
