SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Republic FC announced today that FOX40 will return as the club’s Official Broadcast Partner for the 2023 season. Beginning with the team’s season opener on March 11, fans can stream all 34 of the club’s USL Championship matches on FOX40.com and the FOX40 News mobile app, as well as the station’s digital Antenna TV 40.2. Select matches will also be available on FOX40, including the club’s first three home matches on March 18, March 25, and April 1 with more matches to be announced throughout the season.

The partners will continue to provide a free multi-platform broadcast schedule for each of Republic FC’s league matches on FOX40.com and the FOX40 News mobile app – available on Apple and Android devices, as well as FOX40’s Antenna TV digital channel, over-the-air at 40.2, on Comcast Cable channel 382, Charter Communications channel 199, Volcano Vision channel 441, and Consolidated Communications channel 172.
In the booth for Republic FC’s 10th season will be Play-by-Play Announcer Rob McAllister, who has been on the call for the club since its inception – and former Republic FC midfielder Adam Moffat who returns for his second season as the club’s full-time Match Analyst. The Indomitable Club’s all-time leading scorer Cameron Iwasa will also join the broadcast for select matches throughout the year. Spanish broadcasters Armando Botello and Milton Moreno return for their sixth season together, along with Sal Acevedo providing additional support. The Spanish broadcast will be available for every match and can be accessed through the SAP function on viewer TVs, or by selecting the Spanish feed on FOX40.com and the mobile app.
In addition to Republic FC matches, the two organizations will team up to provide special coverage of the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will be broadcast on Fox 40. Fox40 also will broadcast 15 Major League Soccer regular-season matchups this season.
Republic FC’s 10th USL Championship campaign will kick off on the road on Saturday, March 11, when the squad travels to Texas to take on El Paso Locomotive. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on Antenna TV 40.2. The club returns to Sacramento on March 18 for the 2023 home opener at Heart Health Park, hosting Eastern Conference opponent Charleston Battery for the first time since 2014.
