Together, the partners will collaborate to find ways to include the pets of fans, players and staff in giveaways, events, and social content throughout the season.
Based in Fairfield, Primal Pet Foods (https://primalpetfoods.com/) has been supporting people and pets in the Sacramento region for more than two decades. Founded in 2001 by entrepreneur and trained chef, Matt Koss, the company is focused on elevating the health of pets through species-appropriate nutrition with food that is made using the highest quality ingredients. The team at Primal is committed to educating pet parents about the benefits of adding raw and fresh foods to a pet’s diet.

Republic FC fans are encouraged to visit the Primal Pet Foods tent in the Fan Zone at Heart Health Park this Saturday, June 17, during the match against Monterey Bay F.C. to learn more about the premium pet food brand. A few hundred lucky fans will also receive a special giveaway of Freeze-Dried Raw Meal Toppers from Primal to share with their beloved pets at home.

Republic FC and Primal Pet Foods will team up to sponsor a pet adoption event later this season to give fans and community members the opportunity to welcome a new dog or cat into their family. Adopters will receive a free pet essentials kit with goodies such Freeze-Dried Raw Pronto, a complete and balanced diet, Meal Toppers and Hydrators, Treats, and some awesome swag from Republic FC and Primal. Throughout the season, Republic FC and Primal will be giving away Primal product at home matches and on social media, sharing fun social media content featuring dogs and cats in the Republic FC community, and exploring ways to bring pet-friendly elements into club activities.
Republic FC returns home this Saturday following three weeks on the road, hosting regional rival Monterey Bay F.C. Kickoff from Heart Health Park is set for 8:00 p.m. PT and tickets are available at SacRepublicFC.com/Tickets. Prior to the match, the club is hosting its inaugural Brewfest celebrating the region’s diverse brewing community.
