With Republic FC getting closer and closer to a sellout for Saturday’s season opener, the club is encouraging fans to plan ahead and consider alternate routes to ensure they get to Heart Health Park in time for kickoff.
Heavy traffic is expected at the Exposition Boulevard exit on the I-80 Business Loop due to roadwork near the stadium, which could cause major delays, especially when traveling east. Fans should plan for additional commute time and map out their drive to Heart Health Park ahead of time.
Some alternate routes include:
- CA-160 N (accessed via the Richards Blvd & I-5):
- Option 1: Take exit 47B to Exposition Blvd and turn into Cal Expo main entrance
- Option 2: Take exit 48 toward Arden Wy and follow signs for Arden Way E. Turn right on Heritage Ln and follow to Cal Expo main entrance.
- Highway 50 (both directions): Take exit 9 to Howe Ave. Turn left on Howe Ave. Turn left on Exposition Blvd and then turn left on Heritage Ln for Cal Expo main entrance.
- From I-80 Business W: Take exit 10A for Arden Wy. Turn right on Heritage Ln and follow to Cal Expo main entrance.
