Today, USL Championship announced that two Republic FC matches in March – including Saturday night’s season opener against Orange County SC – will be simulcast on CBS Sports Golazo Network. The national streaming schedule will kick off with an Eastern Conference match up, with Republic FC’s home opener to serve as night cap.
It will be the only free domestic league game available for soccer fans to watch across the country at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Indomitable Club will also be featured on March 30, hosting Memphis 901 FC.
CBS Sports Golazo Network launched last April and is available for free on internet-connected TVs and mobile devices through the CBS Sports app, Pluto TV app, on CBSSports.com, and Paramount+.
On Friday, Republic FC General Manager Todd Dunivant will join the cast of Golazo Network’s Box 2 Box to preview the season and Saturday’s match up. Tune in at 10:00 am PT to watch the show live.
In the Sacramento region, fans can watch both matches on FOX40 over the air and all regional cable/satellite/streaming platforms, FOX40.com, the FOX40 News mobile app, and Antenna TV 40.2, as well as at Heart Health Park – before tickets sell out.
With the addition of the March 9 and March 30 matches on Golazo Network, Republic FC will play six matches in front of a national audience, with additional broadcasts and streams to be announced throughout the season. The club will be featured twice on CBS Sports Network (July 3 and August 14) and twice on ESPN2 (August 3 and August 10).
