Last Saturday, Sacramento Republic FC and SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union presented the awards for the August Indomitable Educators and recognized local educators Chareen Lauritzen and Karla Noyes.
Chareen Lauritzen is a school secretary at Lincoln High School who strives to keep a positive attitude to inspire her students and push them to keep moving forward.
“Chareen consistently goes above and beyond in service to Lincoln High School. Her professionalism, reliability, and solutions-oriented mindset help our school run smoothly every day. Whether supporting students, staff, families, or coordinating major events, she approaches every task with excellence, making a lasting impact on our school community,” Lincoln High School Principal Ashley Sandor said.
The August Indomitable Educators award recipient also includes Karla Noyes, a transitional kindergarten teacher at Foskett Ranch Elementary School. Noyes believes that being indomitable means not giving up on those around her, including students, families, and colleagues.
“Karla is kind, patient, and truly cares about every child. She has a special way of making students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn during their very first school experiences,” Foskett Ranch Elementary School Principal Gina Pasquini said. “Teachers like Karla make a lasting difference in the lives of children. It’s important to recognize their hard work, dedication, and the positive impact they have on our students and community as a whole.”
