Sacramento, Calif. – Republic FC’s annual holiday giving program, Winter Wishlist presented by Westfield Galleria at Roseville, returns for the seventh year. Carrying on the annual tradition, the club’s staff, fans, partners, and people throughout the region’s communities will come together to spread holiday cheer and support families in North Sacramento’s Robla School District.

“Winter Wishlist is one of our favorite traditions because it brings people together around the simple idea of making the holidays a little brighter for others,” said Republic FC Vice President Scott Moak. “As the program continues to grow and evolve, this year, fans will have the opportunity to shop for a specific child and help make their individual holiday wishes come true.”
“We’re proud to partner with Republic FC on Winter Wishlist and be part of a meaningful program that gives back to our local community,” said Jeff Richardson, Senior General Manager, Westfield Galleria at Roseville. “So many people gather here during the holidays, and we’re excited to give shoppers a way to support families in the Robla School District while checking off their own holiday lists.”
This year, Republic FC fans will be invited to shop for a specific student. Previous editions of Winter Wishlist collected thousands of toys and coats to be inventoried and distributed just before the holidays. To help make more wishes come true, each participating student in the Robla School District will now have a personalized list of requested gifts and essentials, giving fans the opportunity to choose and purchase items directly from a child’s list.
Supporters can stop by the Community Corner in the Fan Zone at Republic FC’s upcoming home matches on October 10 and 24 to select a card from the Winter Wishlist Giving Tree. Each card will include a breakdown of a child’s coat size, toy wish list, and other interests to provide donors with a special opportunity to create a personalized holiday gift package.
Westfield Galleria at Roseville is the presenting partner of this year’s Winter Wishlist. As part of its partnership with Republic FC, the Galleria will host a shopping spree to help bring joy and merriment to the families of the Robla School District. The Galleria will begin accepting Winter Wishlist donations later this year, creating a simple way for supporters to shop and donate during their holiday shopping.
To close out the annual donation drive, volunteers from Republic FC, Westfield Galleria at Roseville, and several other community partners will personally deliver the gifts directly to families before the Winter break.
As one of the region’s oldest school districts, Robla School District faces unique challenges – of its nearly 3,000 students, over 85% are classified as socioeconomically disadvantaged and more than 25% of students are without a permanent address. Since 2020, Winter Wishlist has provided more than 5,000 toys and coats to thousands of Robla families.
