The second Board For Change Auction is in full swing, and now you have an opportunity to see some of the selections in person. With the support of Midtown Association, Rick’s Dessert Diner, Harlow’s, Nekter, and Capital Stage, a pop-up walking gallery featuring the works will be on display through the end of the month. In addition to these generous businesses lending their windows during Black History Month to draw attention, a rotating selection of works can be seen at Republic FC’s midtown office & team store – as well as in second-floor windows.
Fans and art lovers are welcome to see the creations up-close every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in February from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (1050 20th Street, Suite 200; Sacramento, CA) Physical distancing guidance will be observed, and all guests must wear a mask. All of the other locations can be viewed from the street as you support local, small businesses throughout midtown.
Take another look at each piece – and don’t forget to bid through the end of the month. Auction bids will help raise more funds for local organizations that support Black youth. Through the first auction and Boards For Change’s GoFundMe, nineteen selections were sold and helped contribute to the over $21,000 raised and directly distributed to local organizations.
All of the selections can be seen and bid on at SacRepublicFC.com/change.
