SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento Republic FC announced today the club has released forward Roberto Hategan following the termination of his contract by mutual consent.
“After several open discussions with Roberto and his family, we came to an agreement to mutually terminate his contract,” said Republic FC General Manager Todd Dunivant. “We would like to thank him for his contributions to the club and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
Hategan became Republic FC’s youngest player when he signed with the club at age 16 in July 2017 and was the first player from Republic FC’s Youth Academy to sign a professional contract with the club.
