He marked his professional debut with Atlanta United 2 in 2020 and started all 16 matches during the pandemic-shortened season. Last June, the defender joined former Atlanta United manager Stephen Glass at Aberdeen FC in Scotland. He logged 10 appearances with the club and amassed 550 minutes, including time in the Scottish Challenge Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying matches.
Prior to starting his professional career, Gurr was an academy product of English club Gateshead FC. He moved to the United States in 2014, joining the soccer program at Georgia Gwinnett College.
