Tuesday saw Republic FC get back to winning ways with a 3-1 win against Swope Park Rangers. Forward Cameron Iwasa scored a brace in the 3-1 win, breaking Rodrigo Lopez's all-time goal scoring record in USL play. Iwasa opened the scoreline in the 45th minute after he received a good ball from Jaime Villarreal in the box. His 21st USL goal with Sacramento came off an assist from #21 Emrah Klimenta in the 54th minute. Swope pulled one back, but Christian Eissele sealed the win in the 88th minute as he put away a grounded cross from Iwasa.
With the win, Republic FC put themselves back into the top four in the Western Conference.
