Sacramento Republic FC announced on Friday the artist for the 2017 Season Ticket Holder Scarf. The exclusive scarf will be designed by Raphael Delgado, one of Sacramento’s most influential visual artists.

Sacramento Republic FC announced on Friday the artist for the 2017 Season Ticket Holder Scarf. The exclusive scarf will be designed by Raphael Delgado, one of Sacramento’s most influential visual artists.

The scarf is inspired by one of Delgado’s pieces entitled California Republic, an acrylic on canvas painted earlier this year and inspired by the California state flag.
A Sacramento based visual artist, Delgado has played an influential and active role in the Indomitable City’s art scene for more than a decade. His unique work— known for its distinct style—is featured in numerous private and corporate art collections throughout the United States.
Locally, Delgado’s Sacramento collection may be found at his studio, located in the heart of the R Street Arts District. His studio also serves as a popular Second Saturday destination. Delgado’s diverse style of painting and drawing has allowed for numerous collaborations and projects within the Sacramento region, most recently completing pieces for the Sacramento Ballet and Capital Dance Project.
This exclusive scarf is available only for 2017 Season Ticket Holders. This includes renewing Season Ticket Holders, Tower Bridge Battalion Season Ticket Holders and new 2017 Season Ticket Holders. One scarf per seat on their account. Scarves will be available for pick-up at the 2017 Season Ticket Pick-Up Party on March 10-12, 2017.
The deadline for 2016 Season Ticket Holders to renew their seats is Monday, Oct. 24. All accounts that renew by the deadline will receive the limited edition scarf, in addition to other benefits including 2016 pricing for the regular season and friendlies.
