SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 8, 2016) – Sacramento Republic FC’s “Live.Work.Play” video won the Northern California Emmy for Best Community/Public Service Spot. The video, which highlights why Sacramento is a great place to live, work and play, aired live during halftime of the CW31 broadcast of Republic FC’s USL playoff match against LA Galaxy II on Sept. 26, 2015. The video was filmed, edited and produced by Franklin Pictures in collaboration with Republic FC.

The “Live. Work. Play” video was created to showcase the diversity, aesthetic and collaborative spirit of Sacramento, a region that has experienced a recent cultural renaissance and development boom. The video was a visual representation of Republic FC’s mission to make Sacramento a better place to live, work and play.
This is the second Northern California Emmy awarded to the collaborative team of Sacramento Republic FC, Franklin Pictures and CW31. The group also won the Northern California Emmy for Best Sporting Game Live/Unedited for their broadcast of the 2014 USL Championship Match on Sept. 27, 2014.
“To have the opportunity to elevate our city on such a grand stage is amazing,” said Director Rusty Prevatt of Franklin Pictures. “Sacramento has so much to be excited about and when you take a step back and look at all that the city has to offer we are in a great time in our history. We are thankful to Sacramento Republic FC for again placing their faith and their brand in our hands and look forward to the growth of our city for many years to come.”
