Sacramento Republic FC will celebrate the arts in Sacramento with Rhythm and Hue Night on Saturday, presented by UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
Republic FC will square off against San Antonio FC at 8 p.m. Gates for the match will open early at 6 p.m., with food, drink and merchandise specials from 6-7:15 p.m.
In celebration of Sacramento’s indomitable arts, there will be a variety of activities at Saturday’s match.
Prior to the match, fans are encouraged to bring art supplies and toys to donate to the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy Department. Donation bins will be located at the main gates and Bonney Field.
In the Market, fans will be able to enjoy live music from local musician Todd Morgan. Additionally, there will be an art area for kids to draw, color and paint their own art piece or color the matchday program cover, which will be a coloring page.
Rhythm and Hue Night will also feature local artist Keri Carr performing the national anthem prior to the match.
Additional activities throughout the matchday will also celebrate Sacramento’s flourishing visual, performance and musical arts scene.
