1. Cheer on Republic FC Academy
Cheer on the baby Quails and see our club’s future talent at any one of our Republic FC Academy home matches this weekend! With both our U-15/16 and U-17/18 teams sitting in first place in the Northwest division, the Academy is looking for key wins against rivals LA Galaxy Academy.
All matches are open to the public and are free admission.

2. Downtown Ice Rink
Want to get in the festive holiday spirit? Why not grab your skates and check out one of Sacramento’s favorite seasonal traditions, the downtown Ice Rink, before heading to the new arena to cheer on the Sacramento Kings on Sunday as they take on the Toronto Raptors.
The ice rink is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., admission is $12 for those seven and older, $6 for six and under. Score $2 off admission with a Regional Transit light rail or bus ticket, or $5 off with your Western Health Advantage membership card.

3. CCCAA Women’s Soccer Playoffs
Five local Division III women’s soccer programs are in this weekend’s CCCAA Northern California Regional Playoffs.
Sierra College travels to take on Las Positas at 1 p.m. Meanwhile Folsom Lake College hosts Mendocino at 5 p.m. Cosumnes River College travels to take on Evergreen Valley College at 4 p.m. kickoff, while Modesto Junior College and SJ Delta College square off at another TBD kickoff.

4. Global Winter Wonderland opens this weekend
Visit one of the largest, most amazing holiday light shows in the country at Cal Expo and Bonney Field this holiday season. The annual event will host its opening ceremonies on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 4:45 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults ages 13-61, and $16 for children 4-12 and seniors 62 and over. Admission is free for children under four.
