Street Soccer USA – Glory Glory Sacramento Grant Recipient
Street Soccer USA works to combat homelessness and build life-changing community based sports programs for the least served communities in Sacramento through the beautiful game. Through the Sacramento Lady Salamanders women’s chapter, Street Soccer USA has held hundreds of street soccer practices in the Sacramento area, aiming to make a positive impact on the community of at-risk women and their children.

The Capital Dance Project aims to spread the reach of the arts by providing affordable dance workshops for underserved communities. The project works not only to make the performing arts a more widespread through all communities but also helps keep dancers employed during their offseason.

916 Ink promotes literacy through creative writing workshops for under-served youth ages 4-18. The workshops feature fun, age-specific writing techniques and drills that encourage participants to express themselves creatively through writing.

College Track – Glory Glory Sacramento Grant Recipient
College Track is a college completion program that works to empower students from underserved communities, on both an academic level and a personal level. The Sacramento chapter opened its doors in 2014, and is currently serving almost 120 students, 88 percent of whom will be the first to pursue a four-year college education.
