The dreaded daily all-team video chat where people forget to mute their mics can only be magnified by 10 with young learners to high school seniors shifting to a new platform for enrichment.

“The excitement was instant! It was the perfect pick-me-up for our class” said second-grade teacher Jennifer Gravvat. “Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity. We’re building on Hayden’s visit by having our students do some writing related to his surprise.”
From Q&A’s to reading books and working through math problems and sharing their musical knowledge, Republic FC coaches and players are excited about how they can assist teacher on a new playing field.

“It was so much fun! The class was so engaged and had so many great questions. I’m glad that I could help bring a special moment to a classroom, especially when students can’t get together,” said Republic FC Defender Hayden Sargis. “Thank you to Ms. Gravvat for inviting me to join in! I can’t wait for the next one.”
