On August 12th, Republic FC hit the road for its second matchup against regional rivals, Reno 1868 FC for a Group A showdown. Diaz helped the Indomitable Club leave with three points, by holding Reno scoreless with five saves – including a close-range save from Corey Hertzog and follow-up from Christiano Francois in a stellar double-stop.
